Elizabeth McGovern's face was more recognizeable back in the 80s when she starred in such films as John Hughes' yuppie film She's Having a Baby opposite Kevin Bacon.
These days McGovern is being seen more and more frequently as she took a small role in the 1997 independent film The Wings of the Dove also starring Helena Bonham Carter.
At the 1998 Sundance film festival, McGovern also had a role in the entry The Misadventures of Margaret which was a French and British co-production which also included cast members Parker Posey, Jeremy Northam, and Brooke Shields.
Next for McGovern, she will appear in The House of Mirth (2000), based on the tragic love story by Edith Wharton.
Gillian Anderson will have the lead role and other members of the cast include Eric Stolz and Dan Akroyd.
