Godzilla 2000 uses the man-in-a-rubber-suit, low budget concept as seen in the original Japanese films. Toho Production Company, home to the Godzilla films for more than forty years, has created the latest feature film. In this millennium edition of the Japanese Godzilla series, an alien creature goes head-to-head with the famous reptilian monster. This alien creature is 60 million years old and is disguised as a rock. It ultimately reveals itself to be the monster Orga and takes on Godzilla in a final epic battle. The Japanese film was already released in its home country where it broke box office records back in December of 1999, and the dubbed English version will be released later this summer.
