Description

The Brit thriller Layer Cake is based on JJ Connolly's popular crime novel of the same name. Daniel Craig plays a professional middleman for large-scale cocaine and ecstasy deals in West London. He runs into trouble when two gang bosses go to war, forcing him to navigate the dangerous layers of the mob and its henchmen to make sure his deal gets to the right party. Guy Ritchie's producer Matthew Vaughn makes his directorial debut with a screenplay by Connolly.
