Description

Samuel L. Jackson stars in the title role of Shaft, playing the nephew of the Richard Roundtree in the original 1971 film. Shaft goes up against a rich murderer (Christian Bale), a corrupt colleague (Dan Hedaya), and a drug lord (Jeffrey Wright) while trying to save a murder witness (Toni Collette).

John Singleton, whose last effort was 1997's Rosewood, is the director.
