Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter…and Spring is a moving drama from South Korean writer-director Ki-duk Kim. Steeped in Buddhist mysticism, the film follows a young child and his master through four different seasons at a Buddhist monastery as the two teach each other life lessons. The child eventually grows up and gets a disciple of his own. This film is South Korea's Oscar entry.
