FilmDistrict has debuted the first trailer for the drama In the Land of Blood and Honey [INLBH] written and directed by Angelina Jolie [AJOLI]. Set against the backdrop of Bosnian Civil War during the 1990s, a Christian Serbian man and a Muslim Bosnian woman fall in love as violence flares between different ethnic and religious groups. The subject matter has already stirred up controversy, though few have seen the film which has ben absent from the festival circuit. With an unknown cast, In the Land of Blood and Honey will have to bank on the name of its director when it opens lin limited release on December 23rd.
