Continuing its domination of the weekend box office for a third time, Zootopia [ZOOTP] led with an estimated $38.0 million. The animated film has banked $201.8 million.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant [DVRG3] debuted in second place with $29.1 million, down more than 45% from each of its two previous installments. The fanbase apparently got older and wiser as the audience remained female at 65%, thogh only 50% under the age of 25.
Miracles from Heaven [MFHVN] opened at the third spot with $15.0 million, and $18.6 million since Wednesday. The faith-based drama skewed older womenat 67% female and 75% over 25.
10 Cloverfield Lane [CELAR] trailed off 49% in its second weekend to $12.5 million. The thriller has stocked up $45.2 million.
Failing to place in the top 12, The Bronze [BRONZ] scored just $0.4 million from 1167 theaters.
