Neon has unveiled the domestic trailer for the drama Fjord [FJORD] directed by two-time Palme d’Or winner Cristian Mungiu. Renate Reinsve [RREIN] and Sebastian Stan [SSTAN] star as a Norwegian wife and a Romanian husband who relocate with their five children to a remote town in Norway, but soon face challenges from the close-knit community. Fjord arrives in theaters on October 9th.
Their teenage children form a fast bond with a neighboring family as unease begins to simmer around their rigid beliefs. When allegations of abuse emerge, they are forced to confront a system of judgment that blurs the line between concern and prejudice.
