The 66% male audience gave the film a B+ Cinemascore.
Last weekend’s champion Practical Magic 2 [PRAC2] finished second with $12.12 million. The sequel dropped 59% from its opening to bring its collections to $50.03 million.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day [SPID9.BW] placed third with $6.5 million in its seventh weekend to advance its total to $944.50 million.
Coyote Vs. ACME [CVACM] grossed another $4.51 million, bringing its total to $54.82 million after 4 weekends.
Runner [RUNNR] slipped 51% from its debut to $3.18 million for a sum of $11.99 million.
Opening in 1525 theaters, Daniel and the Fiery Furnace [DANIL] tallied $3.14 million.
The Weight [THEWT] debuted with $2.32 million from 1504 locations.
Buddy [BUDDY] grossed another $1.93 million during its fourth showing to advance its total to $24.83 million.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom [SHEP3] opened with $1.90 million.
The Uprising [THOOD] earned $1.20 million, down 64% from its opening for a sum of 5.79 million.
Hope [HOPE] dropped 69% from its opening to $1.00 million for a cumulative total of $7.29 million.
