New footage of Green Lantern

Warner Bros. has made an extended footage of the superhero movie Green Lantern [GLANT] shown at Wonder-Con available online.  Ryan Reynolds [RREYN] stars as Hal Jordan, the first human chosen to join The Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic brotherhood of warriors sworn to maintain peace in the Universe.  Targeted at comic fans verse in Green Lantern lore, the trailer eschews the jokey comedy from the first teaser for the serious dramatics of a space opera with more odd aliens than the Star Wars Cantina.  The appeal looks strictly for the fanboys.

Looks good. I initially questioned Ryan Reynolds selection for this role, I like what I've seen, so far.
