First trailer for The Rum Diary

FilmDistrict has finally released the first trailer for the feature adaptation of the Hunter S. Thompson novel  The Rum Diary [RUMDI], which was completely in 2009.  Johnny Depp [JDEPP] stars as a journalist who goes to Puerto Rico for an assignment.   There, he enjoys the fine alcohol and the fine woman, Amber Heard [AHEAR], while he investigates a corrupt businessman, played by Aaron Eckhart [AECKH].   The Rum Diary hits theaters October 28th.
