Lionsgate has unloaded the official trailer for the action sequel Expend4bles [XPND4], the fourth film in The Expendables franchise. Jason Statham [JSTAT], Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone [SSTAL] return as the band of mercenaries joined by new members played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson [50CEN], Megan Fox [MEFOX], Tony Jaa [TJAA], and more. Expend4bles drops into theaters on September 22nd.
MGM has revealed the official redband trailer for the high school comedy Bottoms [BOTOM]. Rachel Sennott [RSENN] and Ayo Edebiri star as two unpopular high school seniors who decide to start a fight club in order to impress and hook up with female cheerleaders. Sonnett also co-wrote the film with director Emma Seligman. Bottoms will open in limited release on August 25th and expand a week later.
A24 has dropped the second trailer for the Australian horror film Talk to Me [TLKTM] directed by Danny and Michael Philippou. A group of friends discover an embalmed hand can conjure spirits. Their fun turns to horror when until they go too far and unleash uncontrollable supernatural forces. Talk to Me opens in theaters on July 28th.
Sony has unleashed the second trailer for the horror sequel Insidious: The Red Door [NSID5]. Patrick Wilson [PWILS] makes his directorial debut in his return to the franchise along with Ty Simpkins [TSIMP] and Rose Byrne [RBYRN] for the final chapter in the Lambert family's story. They must venture deeper into The Further and face the demons from their family’s dark past lurking behind the red door. Insidious: The Red Door opens in theaters on July 7th.

Dominating the Memorial Day holiday weekend box office, The Little Mermaid [TLMER] led with an estimated $95.5 million over 3-day and $117.5 million over the 4-day weekend. The live-action remake just beats Aladdin, which debuted at $91.5 million and $116.8 million respectively.
Last weekend’s winner Fast X [FASTX] decelerated 66% in its second weekend to $23.02 million. A 4-day estimate of $28.69 million advances its second weekend total to $113.63 million.
