Revitalizing Superman as the original superhero franchise, Man of Steel [SUPR2] sooped up an estimated $113.1 million to set a new opening weekend record for the month of June. Toy Story 3 held the previous high at $110.3 million. Counting the special Walmart screenings Thursday evening, the film has tallied $125.1 million.
