Directed by James Wan [JWAN], The Conjuring premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival to rave reviews and will open wide on July 19th.

However, he gets double-crossed and placed in a prison he had helped designed. Arnold Schwarzenegger [ASCHW] co-stars as an inmate who together hatch a prison break Escape Plan. The film goes wide on October 18th.

Sony has dropped the full trailer for the concert movie One Direction: This Is Us [ODCM]. The film tells the story of five young Brits: Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis as they rose from their humble beginnings to competing on the X-Factor TV show to performing worldwide as the hottest boy band today. AJ Michalka [AJMIC] stars as the daughter of a country music star who decides to strike out on her own, not unlike Miley Cyrus. She runs off to Los Angeles and with the help of her dad's manager, records a hit single. However, her rising stardom threatens her values and strains her relationships with her family and God. 12 years after the release of Monsters, Inc., the animated prequel Monsters University [MONS2] grossed an estimated $82.0 million to lead the weekend box office. The debut is the second highest for Pixar behind only Toy Story 3. The audience was 60% under the age of 25. With excellent word of mouth, Monsters University should enjoy a long summer.
