Lionsgate has given MTV the first look at the trailer for the thriller Abduction [ABDUC] starring Taylor Lautner [TLAUT] in his first lead vehicle. The Twilight hearthrob plays a normal teenager who finds out he was a missing child and is now a "high value asset" being sought by some covert government agency as well as some dangerous assassins. It's Bourne in high school where as Hanna was Bourne in middle school. Lily Collins [LICOL] co-stars as the love interest.
For a second weekend in a row, the Easter-themed family comedy Hop [IHOP] dominated the box office with an estimated $21.7 million. Russell Brand [RBRAN] voiced the animated bunny, which drop 42% in its second trip to bring its cumulative total to $68.1 million.
Brand also finished second with his comedy remake Arthur [ATHUR] which led the four new releases at $12.6 million. 64% of its audience was over the age of 25.

Fox has unveiled the first trailer for the comedy Monte Carlo [MONTC]. Selena Gomez [SGOME], Leighton Meester [LMEES] and Katie Cassidy [KCASS] play three Americans who embark on a dream trip to Paris, where the girl played by Gomez is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress. Playing along with the happenstance, the girls are whisked away to Monte Carlo to a glamourous life of paparazzi, couture fashion and fairy tale romances.

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the latest based-on-a-true-story, inspirational drama Dolphin Tale [DLPHN] from the producers of The Blind Side. A dolphin lost its tail to a crab trap and was rescued to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida where it was given a prostethic tail. The heartwarming tale touches everyone in the commuity and is even strong enough to withstand a hurricane.
Four new releases enter the box office fray as two comedians test their draw and two girls fight adversity. However, none is likely to unseat Hop [IHOP] from the top spot.
