Fox has unleashed the readband teaser for the sci-fi horror Alien: Covenant [PRME2] directed by Ridley Scott [RSCOT]. The film is both a sequel to 2012's Prometheus and a prequel to the 1979 Alien. Michael Fassbender [MFASS] reprises his role as an android while Katherine Waterston [KWATE] and Billy Crudup [BCRUD] lead the new cast of would be Alien victims.
The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
Alien: Covenant drops into theaters on May 19th.
