First trailer for Jane Eyre

Focus Features has debuted the first trailer for the latest adaptation of the Charlotte Bronte novel Jane Eyre [JEYRE].   Mia Wasikowska [MWASI] stars as the heroine, an orphan who was abused by her uncle's family. After schooling, she becomes the Governess at  Thornfield House, where she falls in love with its married master Edward Rochester, played by Michael Fassbender [MFASS]. As directed by Cary Fukunaga (Sin Nombre), the film seems to emphasize gothic horror over the period romance.

If you've ever read "Jane Eyre" you'd know that gothic horror is its' true genre and its that aspect what leaves you breathless as you turn the pages. The 'romance' really is secondary.Therefore, I look forward to this adaptation as set forth in the trail
