the important point is that no strike will be less than $100 Since the current price is nowhere near that, do not hold your breath for a BW until there is some proof it will happen.
Example that I posed to Anitbody: THELP
Prior to release it was nowhere near 100. After adjust, still not there. After 2nd weekend....BAM! In the current system, at THAT point, we might have seen a BW Warrant.
This is STILL better than a whole bunch of strikes at 70 or 80 that all delist at zero.
Greatest historical example is MBFGW which was a phenomenon. It delisted BEFORE it went wide, the lasted forever. A BW issued after the 13 or 14th week of release would have had an interestingly low strike and would have paid big.
I personally like the new system. Give it time.
This is still better than having no BW's at all
