Minor correction, probably semantics: I do not wish to replace anyone, certainly not Paul2K. I don't have the Billions he does in his port, but I already have the life he is starting...and have for many years (son graduates this year, daughter finishing grade 9). So I don't want players to rely on me for the news. I just thought it might be helpful to ease the pressure on the poor man who just had a child (well, his wife had a child and he watched).
Thank you, as always, for you insight. It made a lot of sense and you tend to be a calming figure on the board. I certainly fall into the category of chastising older players for showing their frustration on newer players.
Ultimately, I suppose we will all be to blame at some point, if your cycle holds true. Ergo, there are those who have and those who will. We (myself included) should all keep that in mind when we see someone making a post that sounds frustrated.
