Playing & Trading Strategy

Trend the past month is stocks priced $2-$6 seeing BIG runs everyday. momentum858 Apr 20, 08:56

I wish I was up at 3am to play reset, but that's never going to happen. I've made peace with it. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 20, 11:05

think like a man.......PLAY THE RESET......besting the lucky one.......@ Local mostly white/latino theatre in Cali! what does this mean? {nm} DASavage Apr 20, 11:33

I patently refuse to wake up at 3. I'm not a masochist. I shall happily make less money. Small price to pay for sleep. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 20, 13:30

You don't actually start seeing trends until about 10 minutes after reset, then stay up to flip at the right time. Otherwise, it's a loss. {nm} arf Apr 20, 14:05

You've been dabbling in the dark art of Reset trading, have you? I'm concerned for your soul. And for my chances of closing the 5M gap ;-) {nm} Dave3626 Apr 20, 15:27

btw I've started using a capital D in my handle. I hope it's not pretentious. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 20, 15:29

That gap will probably be closed this weekend, I always have terrible luck when holding stock on openers. {nm} arf Apr 20, 16:27

Hey what's an "arf" anyway? {nm} Dave3626 Apr 20, 16:30

AR Fifteen / AR-15 Rifle {nm} arf Apr 20, 17:31

Rifles and reset trading. This how Ruby Ridge happened, ya know. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 21, 08:48

Nah, Ruby Ridge was a mess. ATF screwed the pooch on entrapment, by both ATF and FBI admission. {nm} arf Apr 21, 10:19

Entrapment aaaaannndd.. reset trading. Everyone knows that. You know who else reset traded? Hitler. Yeah. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 21, 10:30

I only reset trade when I'll be up anyway. It's way too volatile. Oh, and 100 bonus points for the Office Space quote mangling of flair! {nm} arf Apr 21, 10:35

I'm going to move this conversation over to the Life board I think. {nm} Dave3626 Apr 21, 11:28

the noise you make when hit with an AR-15? {nm} ndmaster Apr 20, 22:29

Joy of being 8 hours behind pacific time is i really want to go i could start the days trend at reset at a sensible time for me blaze223 Apr 21, 01:33

I have had some success playing the reset, without actually playing the reset. Dales Apr 21, 06:35

Very helpful, very informative. Thank you. But when do you get up? Are you east coast, west coast? {nm} Dave3626 Apr 21, 10:03

Generally I radar things sometime between 6-7AM Central {nm} Dales Apr 21, 10:17

Ok, that's about the same time I get up on the East Coast (5am). Nice. Going to try this out. Again, thanks :-) {nm} Dave3626 Apr 21, 10:28

I succumbed to the dark side, it was only a matter of time for you as well. arf Apr 21, 13:06

A single example from this morning. Dales Apr 22, 12:00
