HSX definition: Market manipulation may include unauthorized computer program-assisted trading
He admits to using a progam...It helps with his "bulk buys" (I hit a button, it fires multiple requests reads like he hits a button and it triggers multiple trades)
So by the strict definition in the glossary he is using an unauthorized computer program to assist with his trading....there is no distinction between whether he is on while using said program, which is what he is arguing w/regard to his usage.
What might help him is he didn't admit to actual manipulation. But the problem is still with using a program that can trigger trades. One line of code can change it to an auto buy at/auto sell at/etc order. One line of code can add a user or multiple users. One more line of code can trigger buys on all of those users. He wants to get tricky, he can set a delay to individual user lines after an initial trigger buy, which he stated he can do in one of his posts........slippery slope.
But forget that technical crap.....using a program defeats the purpose of this game. It changes this game from a game of skill, identifying market trends, moving logically through situations that pop up, etc to a game of who writes the best program and who has the least moral integrity to use said program in a manipulative way because they can't cut it the way its supposed to be played.
Congratulations....your computer trades better than a bunch of people....great feeling of accomplishment right?
