At some point they have to be halted, and re-calculated with the reported grosses at the time of the halt.
I suspect that it takes several hours to gather and update all the related movie reported grosses. Â They probably do all the movies at once, and not just the ones delisting.
From a game play point of view there's no need for the halt, unlike the movie stock adjusts, since all the information affecting the TAG is pretty much known in advance of the halt.

You mean the Monday Cashouts? It happens before the halt, and people do use that money to buy starbonds. {nm} Jan 07, 12:00
