Where do these box office predictions come from? For example, why does Son of God hover around $58? Is that based upon what
movies made in the corresponding weekend last year or is it guesswork? I've always wondered that about the price of all movies, but since I started playing in 2010, I've used simple gut feeling, as well as number of theaters and 3D vs non 3D, to determine whether I buy movies short or long. If there is tracking data that the better players are using, where do I find it? Or is everyone guessing?
