if you have a movie long for opening weekend at 50 and it adjusts to 130, then you do make your profit of 80 per share.
After the adjust, if you short the movie at 130 and it delists at 100, then you made another profit of 30 per share.
That would be a total of 80 long + 30 short profits = 110 per share (minus commissions)
Strategy Question. Doesn't it make for a better profit to sell an adjusted stock instead of flipping/shorting it? Example >> Feb 16, 16:57
