You show a link to a 'Sensory Friendly Program' of children's movie's and comment with a snide aside "You can't see the picture, you can't hear the sound and the audience is encouraged to get out of their seat and make noise?
Nowhere in that link did it state that was the objective of the exercise. As the parent of a five year old with ASD who doesn't have the luxury of taking my child to a normal screening because of the sensory overload and the fact that he can't sit still and insists on singing along with the music, much to the disaproval of parents of 'normal' kids, these kinds of shows are a god send. Anyone with a modicum of wit should be able to understand that. I'd love to get your take on deaf 'signing' and braille I'm sure it's a real hoot.
