I don't see Rogue One being as big though.That's a one shot. I think this will be like the pent up demand satiated.
Rogue One shouldn't have many known characters really in it..
Only Darth Vader hunting them down which could be cool.
It's a flash back tale to Pre-Star Wars IV.
The only other characters would be Leia and maybe Boba Fett trying to hunt them down. But if they did that they could ruin his mystic.
Though the new characters they introduce could be used in the Han Solo trilogy, Boba Fett's movie and make the old for the continuing sequels if they plan it right. But it'd have to be an amazing story to generate over what it's currently listed.
