FOXX Fund Update #1
For consistency, I thought it would be a good idea to keep up hyperzeitgeist's weekly fund update. So, here's my first one. Here is a chart, thanks to Kaigee.
First off, hyper left the fund in good shape. Most of the gain for the week of 7.16% was earned before DMac handed me the keys. Since I took over, it is up 2.4%, with the fund currently trading a 80.20.
I'm not bragging, but I haven't handeled an account under $100mm in years, so it took some getting used to. I've been managing cash, playing Classic Cash and Learn & Earn for the first time in forever.
As for the portfolio, like I said, hyper left it in good shape. I've made some trades, radared more than enough, settled back, and am now trying to manage the cash a bit better. I've initiated a position in DEADP, as I think it has fallen back enough to begin buying. I've bought several Award Options, but not really going out on a limb with them. I haven't traded many of the larger positions, as they are currently in theaters, or the fund was already positioned well. I look forward to having the JOY cash in a couple days.
In all, I'm settling in to managing the fund. Thanks, DMac for giving me the chance. I hope to keep all the shareholders happy!
