If you check the movie stock in the week before it delists when no box office has been reported (cont inside)
...you will see that there are no starbonds attached anymore. If you check the list of movies a starbond is attached to you'll see that none of them are "ZBO" (Zero Box Office). A week prior to a ZBO movie delisting all the starbonds that are attached to it are detached. This is "common knowledge" so personally I'm surprised you weren't aware of this.
You can also see this in the calendar. After every Starbond Adjustment the next week's calendar is published, including the list of all Starbonds that will adjust the next week. It can be a good idea to check those to see if you are holding something in anticipation on an adjust that isn't going to happen.

If a movie does not have reported box office, it is removed completely from the bondperson's HSX credits. For examples, see Jul 05, 17:38
