Only an occasional comic book reader myself...
...but I have a few friends who were really hardcore and a couple who stll are. Nobody ever really seemed to care about Thor. He was a second tier superhero at best, like Colossus...or Green Lantern. And he was an uninteresting second tier superhero at that. I don't think this movie has a chance. IMO, they should have waited on Thor until after Avengers. Nobody even knows who the hell Chris Hemsworth is. Portman isn't much of a draw because she's in, y'know...everything. I just don't see $65 millions dollars worth of people caring right now.
