The 3D footage is groundbreaking, and the trailer doesn't do it justice . . .

The Avatar Day footage was very impressive, and I think the trailer falls short because it crams too much into a few minutes. If I could make 1 reccomendation to Jim Cameron for future trailers for this flick, I'd tell him to focus less on showing everything, and more on the 'world of wonder' sense the movie gives you. A single 30 second scene in the movie is more powerful that 2 minutes of quick cut scenes.

SITWAP from CS: [AVATR] teaser trailer breaks Apple record with 4 million views secretstalker Aug 23, 12:23

Which is probably why their site sucked and blew when you tried to watch it in the highest definition that first day. {nm} Vashta Nerada Aug 23, 13:50

Not surprising, but the real question is what did people think after they saw the trailer and so far it's not looking too great. {nm} Mattrek Aug 23, 22:34

IMO, I think it has done more harm than good and only great word of mouth of the 3-D experience can save it at this point. {nm} swynne23 Aug 24, 05:46
