Well I already vented my opinion last week, but I at least wish they provide the partial returns so far, so that ...
1) We know if their early weekend "projections" make sense;
2) We could keep track of the data and compare with previous similar films. Like last week Variety actually reported Lion King got $1.7m (I think?) at its first 3pm PST article, $700K for Drive, $300K for I Don't Know, and $200K for Straw Dogs. So if they were to tell us again what the openers have roughly sold so far, the data would become valuable.
