well, for the few of us who want to see more... :) (minor spoilers for first movie)
I have to wonder what these "heroes" were put on Earth for in the first place. There must be something equally powerful out there that they're protecting us from. Maybe there's a clue in the fact that they used to be known as "angels" and "gods".
Also, how sure are they that they're the only two left? Or are they just assuming?
