Sure. Basically, I'm trying to do 2 things:
1) Put everyone on the same playing field. It is a no-brainer that people with larger ports can make more money, so KaiGee's list is not representative of who is the best trader.
2) Try to get rid of the bias of somebody having a "good week". I basically try to look at trends of how the rate at which players are making dough is trending up or down.
So, the formula has the following variables:
-How much money was made this week (KaiGee's list)
-The size of your port wrt grory's & wrt the person ranked at 10,000
-The rate of how much was made per day over the last week
-How that rate changed with the week prior.
All the variables are weighted to make the final number have a max of 100 (and a minimum somewhere negative). Also, there are lots of if/and/or statements to correct some events that boost scores for the wrong reasons (having a negative rate one week and a positive one the next would give a huge change, but we don't want to reward this change as much as a positive to positive change).
