BRAVE may be a sign that Disney is really callin the shots at Pixar. Setting in Medieval Scotland? A Princess? Not a usual Pixar plot. Also, Pixar emulated 3D in 2D. Brave did not look nearly as good in 2D. They never revealed a lot of the story from Act 2 in the trailers. Maybe there was a good reason, because I did not like it.
TED absolutely works. So many quick lines, I wonder how much ad-lib.
MGCMK...I am an older straight male. Not the target audience. But, the story sucked and the ponts where the audience in the movie night club was screaming, the estrogen filled audience in my theater was silent. I think the buzz will get real quiet, real fast.
