The current craze (Batman trilogy) coupled with a particularly strong lineup on television (AMC, TCM) inclined a heavy dose of movies this week. I probably watched another one or two that were crowded out of ready memory by the likes of Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape. Saw bits and pieces of Bogie and Bacall, Orson Welles, etc. too. Also watched an hour or so of District 9. How did this movie get a Best Picture nomination?
