WILD theater report
Went to a 2:50 of Where the Wild Things Are at a local (not big) theater. Maybe 30 or 35 people there - not terribly impressive, but not bad either, as the younger grades were still in school.
The movie had a lot of things going for it. The nostalgia factor was huge for me, and I loved seeing everything come to life. The cinematography was nice, as was the music, and it got pretty gripping toward the end. However, I found most of the movie incredibly, depressingly boring. It was very hard to dislike beyond that, but I doubt I'll see it again on DVD. B- or C+ rating.
No snacks, but I did get some nachos and a chicken salad afterward. Yum!
