A24: "The Bling Ring," "Spring Breakers" have wide potential. Annapurna Pictures will have to get there eventually for "Terminator 5" anyway
I really do think both should go wide. "Spring Breakers" looks excellent (Franco say whaaa?) and "The Bling Ring" still has that devoted Emma Watson fanbase, waiting for her to take on a leading lady status ("My Week With Marilyn" doesn't count).
Wouldn't that be crazy if A24 was the next Lionsgate? Let's face it, if these are hugely successful, and "Terminator" goes exactly as they planned when they paid a fortune for the rights, then they very well could.
