Translation....
last september a 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea was written by Bryan Singer and people were assuming that it was set up at FOX (since he had done some recent projects for them). At the end of the tagged September thread, Variety posted that his script was not attached to any studio.
a dude had a script. lots of dudes in hollywod have scripts that they want to make into a movie. no second moviestock was IPOed because it was just a dude with a script. HSX did change the title of 20LUS to '20,000 Leagues Under The Sea - Disney' so players would know that that stock was meant for the Brad Pitt Disney project.
the script just got picked up and given a green light yesterday. HSX does not like issuing moviestock IPOs unless there is some kind of foreward movement happening on a project (cast announced; director announced; release date announced; project greenlit; writers hired; etc...). now that this project was greenlit yesterday, has a finished script; has a director... it should get a '20,000 Leagues Under The Sea - FOX' moviestock IPO sometime soon.
