Highly overpriced stocks puzzle me.

Posted by: lukesed on Feb 13, 16:32 in response to sonic_death_monkey's post Way overpriced CX stocks...

I understand... HSX inflation means that things are worth less when they are far away. But why would you not sell off an overpriced stock? Even if the price decreased since you bought it, you will only lose more when it continues to decrease. Plus you have a bunch of money tied up.

Way overpriced CX stocks... sonic_death_monkey Feb 13, 16:26

Highly overpriced stocks puzzle me. lukesed Feb 13, 16:32

what's a CX stock? Tell me the symbol that is bothering you and I will happily short it. {nm} TheSureThing Feb 13, 16:36

What I can't understand are the ridiculous spreads between CXs and MSTs SPrasad2 Feb 13, 16:40

And that is what was thought of Percy before Friday, too. Who knows what lies in the hearts and minds of the recession proof moviegoers? =) Macavity_the_Hidden_Paw Feb 13, 16:44

What is the difference btwn CX derivs and regular HSX moviestocks? Seems like both are domestic BO for first 4 wks {nm} GMov Feb 13, 18:23

CX derivatives do not halt on opening weekend, I believe. Also, a lower limit on the number of shares which can be held. {nm} second gary Feb 13, 18:35

Makes sense. thanks {nm} GMov Feb 13, 18:55
