FNEMO is masterful film making. This sequel is completely unnecessary. And what can I say, I"m sure I'll probably watch it.
My whole insides just well when I just think about the original. My god, what a great movie, it makes my heart tick.
And: there is zero need for this film. I know, the Toy Story sequels are pretty darn good in their own right. And still, I'd rather see Pixar get to flex their imaginative muscles in original material rather than travel down this path. I know Pixar is perfectly capable of hitting this out of the park. So hopefully it will be an entertianing and interesting diversion for 90 minutes.
I get it; Disney paid billions for this. They need the ROI. It's part of the corporate reality.
It's also a big reason why things tend to suck overall in this life. But what are you gonna do about it?
