To anyone who has watched more of The Get Down, does it get any better? I hated the tone. I hated the pacing. The music and the dance stuff was great, but everything else wrapped around it made me groan. But the last scene gave me some hope, but if it keeps the same style going forward, I'd rather spend 5 hours on something else.
