If the spoilers/leaks for Episode 8 are correct, this could be challenging... (Potential Spoilers)
They could kill off Leia, but Leia seems crucial to the Kylo Ren storyline and it might be upsetting to see Leia die. Especially if the spoilers for Episode 8 are correct. What happens in the beginning of the movie with Leia could be very difficult to watch.
Considering Carrie agreed to a CGI replica of herself in Rogue One, she might have discussed whether she would agree to it in the future.
