Know what, DTravel, between your comment and Bionic Moron's, it makes me appreciate DRKTW a little more!
Because, let's face it, DRKTW could've been a bit worse. OUaT, traders were selling and shorting DRKTW just because of reports of pullouts from HBO and Warners. A few traders IIRC swore it'd never get made.
Just on the trailer (and not one shot is confirmed at this point to be in the movie, I've learned my lesson with SW16), alone, DRKTW demonstrates its worthiness, but my hopes were admittedly a bit uunrealistic. I expected "event-movie" status, must-see, and it falls a bit short. But DRKTW exists and against all odds. Another example of how disingenuous it is to say never to a developing project that had bumps here and there.
Now that DRKTW is made, wow, is that trailer generic or WHAT???? Reminds me of DRISN, The Seeker. Not a good feeling. {nm} May 03, 16:26
