weirdly, i don't think either side's answer to the Netflix phenomenon is sustainable over the long haul. Netflix can't be an originals-only
platform and maintain it's current subscriber levels. but having 5, 10, or 20 companies trying to also be the next Netflix with the mutli-billion dollars cost of entry to the space isn't likely to pay off for most of them
but it'll probably be good for creators in the short term until that all shakes out
