bought it. this is not twilight where everyone passed on it because it was an unknown piece of content that overperformed everyones expectations because no one knows anything. this is scorsese + deniro + pesci + mob plot so its not like there are several clear titles one can compare this script to.
Maybe it works. maybe its a hit. But the odds are even greater than finding the next twilight just because its such a known commodity.
And fwiw, I read the script and thought it was awful. Its not goodfellas/mean streets/casino imo
