legit question: what happens when all of these D&D releases don't appreciably move the subscription needles?
right now there's Netflix and Disney at 100m+ subscribers and then there's everyone else. I think HBO Max will/should get there, or closer, eventually (if Discovery doesn't **** it up!)
is a Boss Baby (DTV-quality) sequel or Munsters reboot going to take Peacock from 33m to 100m? how long do you give it before you say "We'll make more off BB4 in theaters exclusively" and then just put it on Peacock 45 days or a year later like a regular home video/streaming release calendar??
there seems to be a lot of burning the boats after studios all landed on Collapsethewindow Island. but is the casual consumer going to really notice if they just say "well, that happened" in a year or two and go back to status quo? probably not, i'm guessing
