I believe so; i've read a couple articles discussing Fukunaga using the IMAX cameras for this. It looked amazing at The Spectrum.
The movie was "good". Several sequences were absolutely riveting. Excellent work across the board.
I just don't dig where they took the story.
James Bond is supposed to be an extremely dangerous, attractive man. Men want to be him; women want to be with him.
Well, not any more by the look of it.
One of the few times a woman is on screen that in the old days might have been named **** Galore or Honey Ryder, her looks are played strictly for laughs. I mean, it's about as blue hair as you could possibly imagine. Don't worry; in that scene Bond looks like he'd much rather be playing a fascinating game of The Queen's Gambit Declined; ANYTHING but be around this person, so nothing to fear, like it getting semi enjoyable or something.
Another thing that really got my goat in this thing; they filmed in several incredible locations. I mean WOW. And the characters just didn't even care; they're in amazing places; I don't know, maybe the settings are now supposed to just rev up the ANGST and the ENNUI.
