And then complaining about the deviations from the formula. It's a tricky business, delivering that same old comfort food but making it new and exciting. Additionally the Craig Bonds have straddled the line of trying to be escapist blockbusters while also trying to take themselves seriously and get some artistic validation. While I enjoyed this one overall I did the get the feeling of "hmm, a swing and a miss" over and over again. Hard to hit either target when you're aiming for both at the same time.
