Issue being if they don't believe Disney will release newly greenlit Pixar titles theatrically wide 4-5 years from now who for sure will?
Technically WB has said The Places You Go will get a theatrical release in 2027. I'm sure some at this point don't care, a secure animation gig is not an easy thing to land and keep these days. Others are crossing their fingers that LIGHTYEAR goes out unscathed, but at this point, if it doesn't, it's hard to imagine a Pixar title that safely will.
