noticed on the walk home tonight that Disney is currently showing Moulin Rouge at the El Capitan, which is both great and depressing

obviously with the Chapek pivot to Plus streaming, they'll need to fill a lot more open theatrical dates with catalog stuff so presumably more Fox titles will now be in the rotation. but also a reminder that stripping Fox for parts is probably as far as Disney is ever going to take the post-merger "synergies"
